Now, it might just be me, but I’m pretty sure this Loaded Mediterranean Hummus Dip is a gift from the Greek Gods above. Fo realz. It’s got all the amazing flavors you’ve come to expect from great Greek food, without exception. Let yo tastebuds sing, my friends. We’ve got super creamy (and easy to make) hummus, crisp cucumbers, fresh tomatoes, zesty dressing, and of course some savory feta cheese and kalamata olives.
Let’s just say this stunning dish is perfect for sharing, you know, if sharing is your thing.
I don’t like to share. MINE.
This recipe was inspired not only by my love for great Greek food, but also Lipton®’s great Mediterranean Hummus, which is so simple to make you’ll be amazed. I mean, who doesn’t love easy?
Right? It can’t just be me. Just look at that loaded Mediterranean hummus dip. If you aren’t drooling, you are on the wrong page.
Now, I find that to get the creamiest hummus, you really need to remove the skins from the garbanzo beans. The easiest way to do it is toss the beans with a couple teaspoons of baking soda, heat in the microwave until hot, then put them in a bowl with cold water and rub them vigorously between your hands. Change the water a few times and the skins will just float out with the water. Sooooooooo much easier than trying to peel them one-by-one. That takes forever, and makes hummus not worth it, which is sad, because hummus is worth making at home. So try this trick to getting rid of those pesky skins.
See how pretty that hummus is? It’s skinless. ZOMG it’s naked. How indecent of those chickpeas!
Nah, just playing. But seriously, how mouthwateringly creamy does this hummus look? Is mouthwateringly even a word? Spellcheck says no, but I say yes.
Whip up this delish loaded Mediterranean hummus dip ASAP! Your friends, family, and tastebuds will all thank you. And I will too, cause you are awesome for visiting my blog and making my recipes. I <3 your face.
