A big Thank You to LoBlue Citrus and Heritage Reserve Navel Oranges for sponsoring this post!
Since moving to Texas, I’ve been missing citrus so so much. I used to handpick oranges and lemons from trees around my grandma’s condo when we lived in Arizona, which was awesome, and I thought those fruits just had to be the best I ever tasted.
Boy was I wrong!
LoBlue Citrus sent me a huge crate full of their famous Heritage Reserve Navel Oranges and I am pretty much obsessed now. They are so juicy and tasty, I knew they would be perfect to make this Orange Sherbet recipe. Much yum!
Have you ever been super excited to peel an orange, only to find it’s dry and tasteless? So upsetting, right?! Well, I’ve yet to have that happen with these delicious Heritage Reserve Navel Oranges, and I doubt it will happen, because I’ve squeezed every.single.one. and they are all bursting with juicy goodness. I may be bringing you tons of fun, happy orange recipes, because I have so many oranges just begging to be used! I already used some to make these delicious Orange Creamsicle Cupcakes, and I have several more fun recipes up my sleeves, so you better stay tuned!
These oranges come from the earliest citrus groves in Califonia’s Central Valley citrus-growing region, and are available through LoBlue Citrus, which is a family-owned and operated grower for over 75 years! Say hello to locally-sourced citrus, my friends. These oranges will blow you away!
When it comes to making this orange sherbet recipe, you only need a few ingredients in addition to a ton of freshly squeezed orange juice and orange zest. Whip all the ingredients together in a blender, chill, then add to an ice cream maker and you’ll be enjoying a delicious citrus treat in just 40 or so minutes!
Are you ready to put those oranges to work? Heritage Reserve Navel Oranges will be available at local HEB stores for just two months, so pick some up today!

After trying several flavors he decided on pineapple, but your orange sounds terrific. as I was reading though I saw ice cream maker and thought, shoot, then a little farther and see I can just make it ahead and freeze, yeah!!!
