You guys, I might be kind of obsessed over here. Whether you’re a pro, or looking for easy recipes for beginners, you are going to want to check out what I’m about to show you.
The Hestan Cue. It’s magical.
And I used it to make these za’atar roasted carrots with kale salad.
It was amazing. Like, seriously, probably one of the best recipes I’ve tried in awhile.
How do I even describe the Hestan Cue?
It’s a connected cookware system with video-guided recipes that control temperature and time for remarkable results.
I do mean remarkable.
It doesn’t matter how slow you are, or your level of chefery. Is that even a word? Chef-ery. I’m making it a word. But it doesn’t matter, because the Hestan Cue is a tool to help you become a better cook. If you don’t know how to julienne, the app will show you exactly how to do it.
Learning new skills has never been so easy, because you can master them in the comfort of your own home without the fear of cooking class judgment.
I could eat this recipe every day, I swear.
Even my kids, who poo-poo cooked carrots like the weirdos they are, love this recipe. The flavors are rich and complementary, and the Hestan Cue did all the dirty work for me by providing tons of recipes for me, and you, to try.
And they are updated all the time with new recipes too, so you’ll never get bored.
The one thing I did have to do on my own, however, was prepare some za’atar seasoning. In my small town, none of the grocers carry za’atar, so I had to do some research and get to whipping this blend together.
You’re going to love it. It’s a blend of toasted sesame seeds, thyme, cumin, and sumac. Sumac is another spice that can be difficult to locate (I was surprised to find it!), so I recommend this one if you can’t find it locally.
I whipped up a large batch because I am using it in all the things lately. It’s such a great spice blend. Love it.
So, if you’re looking for easy recipes for beginners, or you’re a seasoned cook looking to expand your culinary horizon, I definitely suggest investing in a Hestan Cue system. You won’t regret it.
