For a fun new twist on the classic cosmo, try this delicious pomegranate cosmopolitan! Diabetic friendly!Folks, we are getting swanky up in hurrrrrr. And by swanky I mean tasty. So tasty. Because this pomegranate cosmopolitan is primo on the flavor scale. Say bye bye to boring with this baby! I love pulling out this martini, because it makes me look like a bartending badass (which I already was, hello 10+ years in the industry), especially when I am hanging out with people who are either unfamiliar with my mixology skills, or are timid drinkers. This, my friends, is a drink recipe you’re gonna want to keep.

Diabetic friendly! When I make my drinks, I like to make them friendly to all, including diabetics. You might think right off the bat that there is no way this drink could possibly be diabetic friendly, but looks are deceiving! I made simple syrup for this recipe using Sweet’N Low and the amount of pomegranate and lime juice equate to less than 10 grams of carbs per serving. So enjoy your drink, maybe even two!

To make simple syrup with Sweet’N Low, you combine 1 cup of water with 24 packets, instead of the tradition 1 cup of white sugar. Boil it until the Sweet’N Low dissolves completely, then let cool. Bing, Bam, Boom, done!
