You guys, this Salted Caramel Apple Cobbler is zomg. I don’t even have words, that is how zomg it is. We’re talking soft, chewy apples covered in spices and drizzled with Smucker’s Simple Delight Salted Caramel Topping, covered in a layer of of crumbly, delicious scones.
Yes, I said scones. I used about 1/2 of the recipe for my signature raspberry scones…sans the raspberries, of course. You must use this recipe, it is just freaking amazing.
Adding the Smucker’s Toppings really brought this salted caramel apple cobbler to a new level as well. It’s like an apple crisp on turbo in terms of flavor. I love love love using Smucker’s Toppings in my baked goods, especially the Salted Caramel. I use it in alllllll the apple desserts. All of them. It makes me love fall so much more when I can bake desserts in Smucker’s Simple Delight Salted Caramel Topping.
I cannot wait to bring this recipe home and make it for Christmas in Minnesota. We’ve always been a big apple crisp family. I mean, Minnesota, hello? So it’s always been about cinnamon apple and oats. But no more! We are going to make it about this wonderfully amazing Salted Caramel Apple Cobbler!
Seriously, you guys, I am drooling over here just looking at these pictures, because of course, this dessert was gobbled up almost instantly and I need more right meow. I should get on that, right? Guess another trip to the store is in order for this girl!
Are you ready to whip up the most almost cobbler ever created? Also, are we loving those little dough stars I made? I actually used the little star cutter from this linzer cookie cutter set. Perfecto!
