Salted Caramel Apple Cobbler | asimplepantry.com You guys, this Salted Caramel Apple Cobbler is zomg. I don’t even have words, that is how zomg it is. We’re talking soft, chewy apples covered in spices and drizzled with Smucker’s Simple Delight Salted Caramel Topping, covered in a layer of of crumbly, delicious scones.

Yes, I said scones. I used about 1/2 of the recipe for my signature raspberry scones…sans the raspberries, of course. You must use this recipe, it is just freaking amazing.

Adding the Smucker’s Toppings really brought this salted caramel apple cobbler to a new level as well. It’s like an apple crisp on turbo in terms of flavor. I love love love using Smucker’s Toppings in my baked goods, especially the Salted Caramel. I use it in alllllll the apple desserts. All of them. It makes me love fall so much more when I can bake desserts in Smucker’s Simple Delight Salted Caramel Topping.

So it’s always been about cinnamon apple and oats. But no more! We are going to make it about this wonderfully amazing Salted Caramel Apple Cobbler!

Seriously, you guys, I am drooling over here just looking at these pictures, because of course, this dessert was gobbled up almost instantly and I need more right meow. I should get on that, right? Guess another trip to the store is in order for this girl!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Recipe Scones Dough
  • 2 Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 Pink Lady Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Allspice
  • 1/2 C Smucker's Simple Delight Salted Caramel Topping
  • 1/2 C Whipped Cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice and toss thoroughly. Divide the apples equally between four single-serving skillets, ramekins, or another oven-safe dish. Drizzle each dish 2 tablespoons of the salted caramel.
  3. Divide the dough into four equal portions and crumble large chunks over each dish.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until scones are golden brown. Top with whipped cream and serve immediately.

    I always always have a jar of this in the fridge - it is amazing, but I never thought to put it in apple cobbler. SO good!!

    Oh my goodness, that is complete mouthwatering goodness! I love the idea of scone dough instead of oats! And the Smucker's Salted Caramel topping makes this easy but delectable! #client
