I don’t know about you guys, but smoothies are my jam. I just love the endless combinations and the simplicity of them. Throw a bunch of stuff in a blender, and BAM! you’ve got awesome in a cup. There are sweet smoothies, tart smoothies, green smoothies, power smoothies, protein smoothies, milk smoothies, flax smoothies…you think it, you can name it. But today, what I have for you, is this amazing, and super easy peach raspberry smoothie. It’s kind of like an orange julius, minus the secret ingredient, but still super creamy and smooth and ahmahgawd get in muh mouth now. Yum.
For this smoothie, I used a combination of fresh and frozen fruits. Fresh raspberries, frozen peaches. You could use all fresh or all frozen, depending on the season, but you will want to adjust your ice and liquids accordingly, otherwise you may end up with a smoothie that is too runny or too stiff. I also went with thawed orange juice concentrate, for the thickness it lends to the recipe. I’m all about that perfect level of thickness. I swear, it can make or break a good smoothie recipe, which is why I perfected this easy peach raspberry smoothie before I shared it.
Don’t you just love me for that?!?
