The following post is sponsored by Diageo and Smirnoff Vodka. All opinions and recipes are 100% my own. This post is intended for those who are of legal drinking age, so please drink responsibly!
Pomegranate Grapefruit Punch | asimplepantry.comYou guys. It’s #NationalVodkaDay and I am all up in this hizzie with some vodka deliciousness, because that, my friends, is how I roll. My BFF and I are vodka lovers by heart, so I am not sure why I thought she wouldn’t already know about this fun little holiday, but she was just as excited as I, and although we are thousands of miles apart, we will be sipping on some Pomegranate Grapefruit Punch together, because we are soulmates.

SOULMATES.

Pomegranate Grapefruit Punch | asimplepantry.comPomegranate Grapefruit Punch | asimplepantry.comEven if it wasn’t #NationalVodkaDay, I’d still be sharing this drink with you, because it is totally appropriate for fall and winter. I employed the help of some delicious Ruby Red Grapefruit vodka from Smirnoff, and it really takes this drink to the next level of flavor. You can taste it through the pomegranate, which is exactly what I wanted and got and I am one happy happy girl.

I think you will be happy happy too.

Pomegranate Grapefruit Punch | asimplepantry.comI will have you know that I broke my pomegranate virginity with this drink. I was scared to death of cutting open the thing because I already knew that pom juice stains everything. And I am klutzy. I was expecting to look like I murdered someone by the time I actually accomplished anything with it, which I guess would be fitting since Halloween is coming up, but in reality, opening a pomegranate was super easy. Even after it was dropped on the floor and cracked open and got juice everywhere. THAT was interesting. So def go grab yourself a pomegranate so you pop all the seeds and juice in your drink and enjoy. Like me. Cause we’re cool like that.
