Vibrant and flavorful, this Instant Cherry Ice Cream is perfect for any spring or summer soiree! The Sweetest Treat

As the weather warms and we start moving the party outside, I want to make the transition easy and delicious.

No slaving for hours in the kitchen!

But with this super simple cherry ice cream recipe, you can give the appearance of having spent hours churning these noms without actually spending more than five minutes whipping it up. Your secret will be safe with me.

What’s In This Instant Ice Cream?

You really can’t get much easier than this 3 ingredient ice cream!

  • frozen cherries
  • Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • vanilla extract

Seriously, that is all you need. I actually grabbed a bottle of Eagle Brand squeeze sweetened condensed milk and it’s literally my new favorite kitchen tool. Can I call it that? Because it feels like a tool; the best kind of tool. It’s the same product as the can, but in a convenient squeeze bottle, so I can easily squeeze out the exact measurements I need and store the rest. With a purpose to add pure joy, it really hits the mark-especially when I’m making something like my treasured churro cheesecake cookie bars.

Milk+ Sugar. That’s it. That’s how I like my sweetened condensed milk! Find a bottle near you!

How To Make A Soft Serve Ice Cream Recipe

The brilliance of this recipe is using the food processor to whip up frozen fruits with the Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk. If you do it quickly and serve it immediately, it’s a perfect soft serve ice cream!

If you like it to have more structure, you can freeze it for literally 1-2 hours and have a marvelous frozen treat. No waiting 12 hours, no endless churning, and forget those “no churn” stir sessions.

A Case For Salt

Technically, I make this recipe using a fourth ingredient: salt.

I’ve listed it as optional, but I really think it’s an important addition to any ice cream recipe, because:

  • it brings out more of the flavor of the fruit
  • contrary to myth, it does not affect the freezing point of the mixture (different from using salt in ice outside the mixture)
  • a little goes a long way

Really, it’s all about the flavor. While it’s great without salt, just a tiny pinch can really boost the natural sweetness. And if, by chance, you have more bitter fruit (it happens!), the salt will actually cut that, too. It’s a win-win. So, while I listed it as optional, I implore you to add that pinch!

Easy Instant Cherry Ice Cream

Get in the kitchen without breaking a sweat, and serve your guests a sweet treat that they’ll swoon over with this colorful and vibrant cherry ice cream recipe! Whipped up in five minutes in a single food processor, it can be soft-served immediately or frozen for later. Cherries not your thing? Mix it up by using mangoes, strawberries, mixed berries, or peaches!

If you like this recipe, please give it a 5-star rating!
